I wanted to validate my idea with XSL-List members, and I learnt a lot in the process. My idea is surely not good as you have explained.. I am thinking, whether "a XML comparison program" is really useful for real needs? I don't normally see need for comparing XML documents.. I believe, the things that can be done with XML can roughly fall in these categories: - Read XML - Write XML - Modify XML (or transform it) - Transmit XML between different applications/people - Validate XML with a DTD/Schema I don't see that comparing XML documents can be a meaningful activity... Though it may be.. But I am not aware of any such requirements..
