Subject: Re: [xsl] Opinions, please. Keep entire archive or toss old? From: Joseph Dane <jdane@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 12 Oct 2005 10:56:34 -1000 |
Please, please, please: keep the archives. Embarassment over newbie questions is no reason to expunge an archive, period. Gimme a break. On the other hand, the idea that XSL has changed and that old posts (implicitly) describing XSLT 1.0 solutions might mislead people has some merit, but many of us (most of us, probably) are still stuck using that version, so those posts have real value. And I find that when starting with XSLT you learn very quickly that there is a thing called XSLT 1.0, and a thing called XSLT 2.0, and that the one followed the other, and looking at a date header is usually enough to determine which is being discussed. -- joe
