That is simply because the names of the XML elements are not recognised by the browser (they are not HTML). If you do a view source on the output, you will find that, indeed, the whole is copied. But as you could see the text, this shows that the location was alright, and you say that you have found the problem, so that is fine too. (It is curtious to write the solution, even if you find it yourself, to the list, so that others may benefict from your question). Regards, Ragulf Pickaxe :-)
