Subject: RE: [xsl] Is letting the browser transform XML to XHTML using XSLT a good choice? From: Didier PH Martin <martind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 04 Mar 2006 18:29:07 -0500 |
Hello David said: This should have been annotated with the fact that TransforMiiX was donated to the Mozilla foundation, from MIT (need to reverify this, but I almost certain it was MIT). Whether it can be said Michael Leventhal and his crack-heads -- or something like that -- had anything to do with this development is neither here nor there. He was wrong then, just as he is now. I reply: In fact I remember that Keith Vasco from MITRE developed TransformIIX and donated it to Firefox. And I remembered some people in the Mozilla project asked me to do the adaptation to XPCOM but I was too busy working on another project to do that. I just hope that somebody with will, knowledge and time will improve it. And I will be glad, in the future, to give to Caesar what is owned by Caesar like I just did for Keith. Cheers Didier PH Martin
