I am not sure which version of AltovaXML you were working with, but AltovaXML has gone through several revisions since the initial release that supported the draft version of the XSLT v2.0 spec. The latest release of AltovaXML has been updated to be in compliance with the Candidate Recommendations that were released by the W3C on June 8, 2006. The latest revision is a royalty-free download that can be accessed here: http://www.altova.com/altovaxml.html ... Ted Henry ... Sales Engineer ... XMLSpy 2006? I haven't used XMLSpy 2006 IDE but their free command line XSLT2 engine does not support all of XSLT2 I found when I tried it. Try testing your stylesheet with saxon. David
