Subject: Re: [xsl] losing element tags during copy-of From: David Carlisle <davidc@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 22:28:11 GMT |
> I thought that the xsl:copy-of would keep the <i> tags. it keeps element nodes (xslt doesn't deal with tags) but you are not copying the child nodes of SS you are copying the grouping key (which is the string value of the element in this case) I suspect that you want select="." or select="node()"/> (depending what you do want) Incidentally <xsl:for-each-group select="//SS" group-by="."> is potentially expensive searching teh document to arbitrary depth looking for SS, if you know a more specific path to these elements it's probably better to use it.
