Why aren't using different formats!? For printing you'll need high
quality/high resolution. For the online documentation you have to use
lightweigth graphics, to reduced the time for loading your
documentation over the net.
You can use tools like the free software imagemagick (for Linux) to
convert the images. It's even possible to resize them during the
process. The program is called convert and can be used in a batch mode.
I don't know if imagemagick is available for Win*. If not you can use
PaintShop Pro from JASC (free 30 day trial).
