Have you looked at the DSSSL developers' toolkit from Copernican Solutions? It includes a java api (source freely available, I believe) that gives you complete access to the source grove. I haven't had time to look closely at what the W3C DOM committee is doing, but it sure looks like reinventing the wheel. Can somebody out there enlighten me as to why we need DOM when we already have property sets and groves? It looks to me like the API designed by Copernican Solutions already does what DOM wants to do, only in java instead of IDL. http://www.copsol.com/products/index.html > -----Original Message----- > From: linas@xxxxxxxxx [SMTP:linas@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Wednesday, March 18, 1998 10:15 AM > To: dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Cc: gtn@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: Convert DTD to IDL ? > > Hi Gavin, > > Thanks for the invaluable reference.
