Subject: DSSSL Cookbook - Call for contributions From: Tony Graham <tgraham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 8 Sep 1998 16:36:47 -0400 (EDT) |
There has been a recent spate of useful solutions to people's problems being posted to the DSSSList. Rather than just consigning that sort of information to the archive (which is being worked on, I assure you), these useful solutions, and many more besides, can and should be marked up for inclusion in the DSSSL Cookbook (http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dsssldoc/cookbook). If you have a useful tip, technique, or fragment of DSSSL code that you can share with others, or have been the recipient of useful advice and want to write it down so that others don't need to ask the same question again, then mark it up as a <chapter> using DocBook 3.0 (see the current Cookbook if you need examples) and send it to tgraham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx by September 25. I will make a new issue of the Cookbook as soon as possible after that date. One change that will be made is to create a separate part for cookbook items specific to Jade's SGML backend. Another will be to have the authors' names appear in the HTML version as well as the RTF version.
