Subject: Re: JadeTeX documentation? TOC? From: Norman Walsh <ndw@xxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 28 Sep 1998 08:14:39 -0400 |
| My immediate problem is that I would like my hardcopy documents
| to start with a table of contents. I have two problems here:
|
| 1. Emacs/PSGML doesn't seem to think that <toc> is a valid child
| of <article>, although the element reference says it is.
|
| 2. How do I connect <tocentry> elements to the corresponding
| elements in the body of the work? Is there some way to do
| this automatically as LaTeX does?
You really want Jade to build the TOCs for you. You just have
to set
(define %generate-article-toc% #t)
in your customization of the stylesheet. (Which I know isn't too
clear, but I'm runnin' on four hours of sleep and about my ninth
straight 15 hour day...drop me a note if you need a little more
detail ;-)
Cheers,
norm
