Subject: Call for Participation SGML/XML'97 From: Deborah Aleyne Lapeyre <dlapeyre@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 27 Jun 1997 19:41:32 -0400 |
Yet Another CALL FOR PARTICIPATION (YACP)
I beg the indulgence of this list to post this call. Not all of you are on
the regular SGML mailing lists and I wanted to make sure the word got out.
If you've seen it, this announcement is just like all the others, delete
with my apologies.
Otherwise, please pass this announcement along to your staff, your friends,
and any mailing lists you feel might appreciate the news.
Then come to SGML/XML'97 in Washington in December and help make this year
the biggest and most exciting SGML conference ever!
--Debbie Lapeyre
P.S. IT IS NOT TOO LATE! Sorry this is so near the deadline. I posted
this almost 2-weeks ago and it bounced and.... long story all my fault.
Anyway, the Technical Committee can extend the deadline a few days (on an
individual basis) if you call or email and ask. Please consider speaking,
there are ***NO** DSSSL talks yet. (A DSSSL tutorial, yes, any talks --
NO.)
Final Note: There is a "New Product Nursery" for showcasing products under
development and free software. No deadline there, although you will need
to reserve space.
