Maybe I don't understand what you're getting at, but can't you achieve this
effect by just formatting and then manually (i.e., physically) reorienting
the opposite pages?  Or is it impossible because you are counting on duplex
printing (i.e., on both sides of the page)?

BTW, how does this arrangement
