The short answer: use . or - instead of _ . In my case easy to do. the long answer: modify my SGML dcl file to allow it in the NAMING section. (A question here: I thought jade ignored those, as indicated by the frequently seen warning jade:c:\code\sgml\docbook30\docbook.cat:30:0:W: DTDDECL catalog entries are not supported ) Not that I understood what the *.dcl files meant. I'd been taking them as a "given", to be figured out "one of these days."
