Subject: Attaching a "caption" to a Graphic From: Chuck Darney <cdarney@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 20 May 1998 14:55:54 -0400 |
Within my documents I have places where the signature of the president and secretary of the various business units is placed. The signatures are graphic files referenced as file entities within an entity called in the main DTD. This way, when the president of a business unit leaves, I just have to change the actual pathname the new president's signature in one place. All text blocks refernece the file entity only. The problem: Under the signature, I want to put the name as well. I thought about making this and attribute of my GRAPHIC element, but it would defeat the ability to make changes in only one place in the event of a change in presidents. Does anyone have a suggestion for "attaching" the name to the signature and for having the name print with the same alignment (START, CENTER, RIGHT) as the signature graphic? ..Chuck Darney DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
