Subject: Idiots guide to transformations using Jade From: Robin Stephenson <robin.stephenson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: 03 Jun 1998 14:48:21 +0100 |
Hi there. I've just joined the list, so please be gentle with me. I want to transform an SGML document from one DTD to another using Jade. I gather that Jade doesn't implement the Transformation Language, but that it can do this using some style language extensions (the `-t sgml' flag). Unfortunately, I can't find an idiot's guide to doing this. What files do I need to create, where do I put them, and what command line do I use? Is there a `Complete Idiot's Guide' to this sort of thing? I've found a couple of tutorials (including <http://csg.uwaterloo.ca/~dmg/dsssl/tutorial/tutorial.html> and <http://itrc.uwaterloo.ca/~papresco/dsssl/tutorial.html>), but they assume knowledge of the bit I'm unclear about, namely the very basic invocation stuff.
