t3 is for the encoding for phonetics characters. just trying to be

thats the hyperref package which you do not have up to date

well, it works for me, of course. always has, always will, by
definition. and since my setup is that of the TeX Live CD ROM (of
which I am the editor), you can
always be sure that releases of TeX Live have a valid JadeTeX setup
