Subject: JadeTex frustration From: Andreas.Saremba@xxxxxxxxxxx (Andreas Saremba Brieselang) Date: Tue, 22 Jun 1999 17:05:20 +0200 |
My first attempts with JadeTex (using MiKTeX on Windows NT)
are rather frustrating. This is the beginning of the TeX file
Jade 1.2 produced from a Docbook SGML file (jade -t tex):
\FOT{2}\Seq%
{\def\HeadingLevel%
{0}\def\PageNumberFormat%
{1}\def\PageNumberRestart%
{0}\def\PageNColumns%
{1}\def\PageColumnSep%
....................
And this is what happens when I try to run the tex program
on that file:
D:\projekte\bfai\Dokumentation\produktion\pro>tex prod-pro.tex
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (MiKTeX 1.20b)
(prod-pro.tex
! Undefined control sequence.
l.1 \FOT
{2}\Seq%
?
It is not clear to me whether (a) the TeX file is incomplete or
(b) my TeX setup is incorrect or (c) something else is wrong. I
have created the format files (jadetex.fmt and pdfjadetex.fmt) as
described in Markus Hoenicka's Howto, but I suspect they aren't used.
