Hi, It depends on which compiler version you compiled the source. For instance, VC 5 has its own version of msvcrt and VC6 its own too. I am preparing an installation package for windows that will include msvcrt.dll (with vc5). This is also the same msvcrt.dll that IE 5 uses. So, this is on the "to do" list. regards Didier PH Martin mailto:martind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.netfolder.com -----Original Message----- From: owner-dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Russell Steven Shawn O'Connor Sent: Sunday, July 25, 1999 6:52 PM To: dssslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: OpenJade & MSVCRT.DLL? OpenJade, not surprisingly, relies on MSVCRT.DLL. Are all windows systems garrenteed to have this file on them? Should it be packaged with OpenJade? I'm running OS/2 so I don't know the answers to these issues. -- Russell O'Connor roconnor@xxxxxxxxxxxx <http://www.undergrad.math.uwaterloo.ca/~roconnor/> ``And truth irreversibly destroys the meaning of its own message'' -- Anindita Dutta, ``The Paradox of Truth, the Truth of Entropy'' DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
