Subject: refusal to display figures? From: "Weininger, Nicholas (MN65)" <weininger_nicholas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 27 Jul 1999 16:19:07 -0500 |
I've got a couple of large documents written in a slightly-modified version of DocBook 3.1, and am using Jade 1.2.1 to convert them to RTF using appropriately extended versions of the Modular DocBook Stylesheets. These documents contain several JPG images included using <graphic>. I've found that when the RTF output document gets beyond a certain size-- it seems to be about a megabyte-- it simply stops putting in the JPGs. The figure captions continue to be displayed correctly, and the output seems correct in every other particular, but the images just don't show up. (There are five JPGs, and they average about 50Kbytes each). Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? The documents are proprietary, unfortunately, so I can't send them off to other people to have them reproduce the problem. Thanks, Nick Weininger weininger_nicholas@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (BTW, with respect to my last post: I solved the landscape-table problem by making a new "landscape-appendix" tag that gets formatted just like an appendix, only with page width and height reversed. Then I can stick my big tables inside one of those, and all is well). DSSSList info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/dsssl/dssslist
