Um, how do you do that? openjade->jadetex->dvips->something?

I use docbook2ps (a wrapper for openjade), then ps2pdf. I think that docbook2ps uses LaTeX as an intermediary step, but when I try to use docbook2pdf (another openjade wrapper which I'm sure goes through LaTeX), it doesn't work.
