[jats-list] how to tag publication dates for different versions of journal articles

I have a query about tagging publication dates; currently using NLM Journal
Publishing DTD v2.3

At present we include up to three publication dates in metadata, tagged as
below:
- (online) Accepted Manuscript version: <pub-date
pub-type="epreprint"><day>21</day><month>7</month><year>2013</year></pub-date
>
- (online) Version of Record: <pub-date
pub-type="epub"><day>29</day><month>8</month><year>2013</year></pub-date>
- Print issue: <pub-date
pub-type="ppub"><day>1</day><month>10</month><year>2013</year></pub-date>

This seems to be in line with the JATS/NLM and PMC tagging guidelines (also
covered in previous JATS-list discussion
http://www.biglist.com/lists/lists.mulberrytech.com/jats-list/archives/201106
/msg00002.html)

We're migrating to a new hosting platform and it's been recommended that we
switch to tagging the Accepted Manuscript date as "epub", instead of
"epreprint"

Were we to change this, are there any thoughts as to how the paginated online
Version of Record publication date should be tagged?

Thanks
