Hello

There have been a few communications about tagging clinical trial
information and this has been discussed briefly within JATS4R. There is
also a working group looking at collecting this information from research
content and delivering it to CrossRef (so addition of specific tagging to
the CrossRef schema).

I would like to know if anyone is interested in working on defining a
proposal for tagging this content specifically in JATS XML which would be
then be promoted and hopefully adopted by all using JATS. It might result
in a recommendation for additional tag(s) being added to the DTD.

Please can anyone interested contact me direct (m.harrison@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
and I will coordinate the development of a short term group to come up with
something.

I look forward to hearing from anyone interested, and as always snippets of
XML samples of how people are doing it now would be fantastic.

BW

Melissa
