Hello Armin --

Take a look at the <series> element:
https://jats.nlm.nih.gov/publishing/tag-library/1.3d1/element/series.html

The second bullet in the remarks says:

> <series-text> and <series-title> are used to identify a collection of
articles within an issue or a collection of similar articles across multiple
issues. For example, a single issue of a journal may contain numerous
colloquium papers that can be identified as part of a series by including
<series-title>Colloquium</series-title> in each articlebs metadata. An
example of a series that spans issues is the bInaugural Articleb series in
PNAS. These articles from newly-elected members of the National Academy of
Sciences are all part of the same series, but appear in different issues of
the journal.

I think that might be what you need.

article collection? The collection might be a thematic section within an issue
or a collection of related articles across different issues of a journal.
Besides the title of the collection it should also be possible to add a link
(uri, ext-link) to the collection.
