[jats-list] JATS 1.4d1 (first Committee draft of version 1.4) is available now

Today we are releasing the non-normative supporting materials including the
schemas and Tag Library documentation for the first Committee Draft of JATS
1.4 (1.4d1). This is a backward-compatible update based on the current
official ANSI/NISO Z39.96-2021 JATS 1.3.

As you know, NISO Z39.96 JATS is in continuous maintenance at NISO. Public
comments are collected at the NISO site and are addressed by the JATS Standing
Committee. The Standard will not be updated more than once per year, but as
Public Comments are addressed, we will be releasing draft versions of the
non-normative supporting materials.

I want to thank the Standing Committee and Mulberry Technologies for all of
their work getting this draft ready for release.
