Subject: [jats-list] upcoming XSLT courses at delightful computing From: "Liam R. E. Quin liam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" <jats-list-service@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 2 Jul 2024 05:11:14 -0000 |
Timeframe - July to September
[1] Introduction to XSLT
A one- or two-day course aimed at people new to XSLT
Mix of XSLT 1 2 and 2, to help people who have to
migrate from XSLT 1 or 2 to XSLT 3
[2] XSLT booster course
Half or one day
Maybe you did some XSLT years ago and want to come back
up to speed, or maybe you have done some XSLT 1 and want
to go on the main XSLT Three course...
[3] XSLT Three for XSLT Two Users
Three-day course (prepare to be exhausted).
You should know at least a little XSLT two before this.
This is NOT a complete course (that would take a month or
more) but it will show you all the main areas and also help
you be confident in finding out more. After doing this
course you'll be able to go on and work with XSLT 3 right away.
Timeframe - October to December
Above courses , plus new courses in preparation, feel free to ask.
The courses are all remote, with a live (i think ibm alive) instructor.
In some cases on-site courses may be possible, here in Canada or
elsewhere.
Note: not covered:
* Saxon-JS (because it's only one product);
* XSLT 4 (some new features are mentioned but itbs not yet final)
* XQuery (but we will use BaseX for some examples)
* Hippopotamus feeding (ask someone else for that)
People complain when i donbt mention this - therebs discount for
attending without shoes. No, you donbt have to prove it :-)
Prices are on delightfulcomputing.com although youbre welcome to pay
more :-) and prices are always negotiable, with or without discounts.
Well, prices for the XSLT Three course are on delightfulcomputing.com.
If there are at least three people, i can run courses in your own
timezone in most cases.
