Subject: Re: [jats-list] abstract-type attribute mentioning video type for "graphical" value From: "Mike Eden mike.eden@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <jats-list-service@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 15 Oct 2025 12:31:44 -0000 |
Hi Chiara, We also make the same distinction and use @abstract-type="video" for video abstracts. I know it's just an example as acceptable values for abstract-type are any combination of text, numbers, or special characters, but I think the guidelines would be clearer if "video" wasn't mentioned there (same for BITS). FYI, at OUP we use the value 'video' for video abstracts (surprise surprise!). I'd be happy to hear diverging opinions on this!
