Subject: [niso-sts] JATS-Con 2020 Call for Participation

JATS-Con is an annual conference dedicated to discussion of the JATS XML
vocabularies and other vocabularies in the JATS family (including BITS and
NISO STS).

JATS-Con is peer reviewed, live-streamed, and the proceedings are published in
NLM Bookshelf. Admission is free but registration is required because
attendance is limited. (There are only so many seats in the auditorium!)

JATS-Con is THE place for deep dives into JATS-related topics.
Papers about uses and users of JATS, BITS, STS, and other JATS-related
vocabularies are welcome. Discussions of how any of these tag sets could be
better, should be changed, or how they shine in some circumstance are welcome.

This is a place where no detail is too small, no topic too technical, and no
philosophy too airy b& so long as it is related to JATS or one of the JATS
vocabularies.

If you want to speak at JATS-Con 2020, NOW is the time to start working on
your proposal. Submissions are due January 3, 2020
