Nice thought. Well, since we're talking about exotic systems, why don't you
start with Plan9, which takes "everything is a file" much beyond a normal
UNIX. Maybe you could "simply" wrap it with an XML driver layer... Probably
not but it would be an interesting study. Anyone looking for an operating
system related thesis subject? :-)
