straight from the horses ass ..er I mean mouth. XSLT/XPath Support The XML Parser Technology Preview contains an implementation of a subset of the XSLT and XPath specifications. Because of the time necessary to develop the parser, it was impossible to implement all specifications for this release. Microsoft is, however, committed to full compliance and will deliver the remaining features in a future release. The following sections list the features of the specifications that are not available in this release. XSLT Features Not Included in the Technology Preview xsl:transform xsl:import default-space, xsl:strip-space, xsl:preserve-space xsl:apply-imports named templates, xsl:call-template xsl:namespace-alias named attribute sets xsl:number case-order attribute lang attribute XPath Features Not Included in the Technology Preview following following-sibling preceding preceding-sibling namespace lang sum floor ceiling round ----- Original Message ----- From: miles thompson <miles@xxxxxxxx> To: <xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 12, 2000 8:43 AM Subject: Re: when will Internet Explorer support XSLT recommendation? > > > and does it? > > ( sorry, I mean, how well does the M$ COM 'ponent support the 'spec'? ) > > > Microsoft has released a new XML Parser that supports XSLT, I'm not sure > if > > the installation updates the browser's xml parsing support or just > provides > > a class to incorporate within COM components.
