xsl:eval and xsl:script where once part of the XSL draft (and, as such, turned up in Microsoft's implementaion.) However, they were dropped; exact reasons are unknown to me, though perhaps someone else on this list could explain why. Largely, though, I beleive that pretty much anything you would want eval and script for could be done using proper xslt and DOM scripting.
