is there any function that tests whether a string matches a pattern with metacharacters (i.e. "*" like used in a unix shell). example "pabx1" and "pabx23" both match "pabx*" Thanks in advance XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
