| Subject: variable value From: "Alankar Chowdhury" <alankar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2000 15:55:56 +0800 |
question:
This is the part of xsl stylesheet I have been working on

<xsl:for-each select="//dmxpsub/services/child::*[name()=$serviceName]/child::*[name()=$attributeName]">
    <!-- content of each attribute -->
    <a style="text-decoration: none; color: #000000
" ><xsl:value-of select="text()"/></a>
</xsl:for-each>
 In my output I want to write the variable value. Writing the variable
value to the output is easy just use value of element.  But when I
have a line like this :
    <a style="text-decoration: none; color: #000000
" >
how can I replace "alankar" with the variable value (maybe say $serviceName)
I tried doing this
    <a style="text-decoration: none; color: #000000
" $serviceName"/>'')">
but it didn't work anyone has the solution to this ...pls let me know
alankar
