So it's just a matter of support. We wish it was there, but until it's
widespread, we're making do. Server-based soltions are as Matt say, a
stepping stone, or as I say, a compromise.

Well actually no.
The Win98 box I'm using here seems to pick a random time every time I
turn it on, usually within three days (one side oor the other) of the
real time.
EG, it's actually 7PM, but I guess this'll be timestamped 5:30. Plays
havoc with my mail threading, but hey...
This amuses me for perverse reasons of my own, so I've never tried to
fix it.
I was not posting at 2:00 AM on a Saturday Morning. It was actually
after 3. Almost accurate that time.

Strange as this may be, it was at around 4:00 AM two Thursdays ago I got
a rare bit of work-related excitement bouncing the ILOVEYOU away from
the university servers. Very seldom does the life of a sysadmin rise to
such high drama. Maybe I was looking for a repeat of past glories.
Maybe I'm just a sad bastard sometimes.
