Subject: RE: General question, is it possible to? From: James Robertson <jamesr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, 30 May 2000 11:13:37 +1000 |
You could create a javascript array with all the news stories in xsl, use local variables to keep the current positions in the list and then user <div>.innerHTML to render the display of the stories based on what's currently selected.
The problem is that if the visitor doesn't have Javascript turned on, they get nothing at all.
Wouldn't it be better (from a usability perspective) to do all the work on the server side, and present just plain HTML pages?
