AW: Why does this work?

Jenni, Kevin, Frank, Micheal,
thanks for your explanations! I didn't realize that by using
'preceding::row[position()=1]/customer' I get the 'row' immediatly  in front
of my current 'row' element. I thought the value that 'position()' returns
is always connected to the 'normal' document order.
