Sorry, I didn't put all of the background of my requirements in my original posting. My real requirement is to return a .doc file from XML by means of an automated process. I am looking at using RTF as an intermediary step. So, while opening HTML in Word would work as a manual process, it won't work for "lights out" processing. However, your point on converting to HTML is worth looking into because there may be more utilities available to convert HTML to RTF. But now I'm back at step one of looking for that utility or writing it from scratch ... :-) Matt -----Original Message----- From: Chris Bayes [mailto:Chris@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, September 01, 2000 10:44 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: xml -> rtf Word can load html. So transform it to html load it into word then save as word or rtf etc Ciao Chris XML/XSL Portal http://www.bayes.co.uk/xml >-----Original Message----- >From: owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >[mailto:owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Johnson, Matthew C. >(LNG-MBC) >Sent: 01 September 2000 13:56 >To: 'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' >Subject: xml -> rtf > > >Hello, > >Can anyone suggest a method of converting XML data to RTF (that can then be >read into MS Word)?
