[ANN] XSLT-UK 01 Call for Speakers and Sponsors. The first XSLT-UK conference will take place in the UK, Feb/March 2001. This is a two day event focussed on technical development and use of XSLT, XPATH and XSL. This is to be the first of its kind in the UK, covering this fast developing field, and will have a technical focus for users and implementors . In other words, this is a conference by developers and users, for developers and users. Expect interesting presentations on fairly deep subjects. If you come wearing a suit we won't actually turn you away, but we don't need your business so badly that we're willing to lower the level of discourse. * Who should attend? Implementors, developers and users. * Duration? It will be a full two days providing a chance to meet the names on the XSL list and put a face to them. * Location? We are looking at various locations within easy reach of London's Heathrow Airport Technical papers are requested covering usage, experience and techniques. If you are engaged in the construction of any software that works with these technologies -- converters, server side, browsers, editors, or XLT-based vertical applications -- here is your chance to share your work with an audience that can understand and appreciate it. Vendors of commercial tools can participate, but the presentations must be confined to the technical aspects of XSLT products currently in development or use. End users of the technology are invited to speak on usage, especially novel solutions offered by the technology. If you would like to speak at this event, please submit an outline proposal covering the topic and length. All proposals will be acknowledged. Sponsors are sought for the event to cover handouts, proceedings and other social events. In the first instance please contact one of the organisers: Dave Pawson <DaveP@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sebastian Rahtz <sebastian.rahtz@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
