The other elements are also qualified, even if you are using a default
namespace.

What you need is to add a declaration for the RSS namespace in you
stylesheet:

<xsl:stylesheet
version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform";
xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#";
xmlns:rss="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/";

and the qualify all your elements

(for instance: select="/rdf:RDF/rss:channel").

Hope this helps.
