<xsl:template match="html"> <html> <xsl:apply-templates select="body"/> </html> </xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="body"> <xsl:copy-of select="*"/> </xsl:template>
With the stylesheet you send, you don't only say to copy the contents of body, you also say apply-templates on the root, which means it will also show you what's not in body.
Simply say something like:
<xsl:template match="html"> </xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="body"> <xsl:copy-of select="*"/> </xsl:template>
