Subject: [xsl] invalid character (Unicode: 0xa0) in xsl document From: "alan eustace" <alan.eustace@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 13:46:31 +0100 |
I'm processing an xsl file with the apache xalan 2 processor, and am getting the following error message when i run my application: javax.xml.transform.TransformerConfigurationException: An invalid XML character (Unicode: 0xa0) was found in the element content of the document. I'm building the xsl dynamically through a servlet, and this is the resultant xsl file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0"><xsl:output method="html" indent="yes" /> <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:apply-templates /> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="bbs"> <html> <head> <title> <xsl:value-of select="@title" /> </title> </head> <h1><b><font color="#000000" face="Times, Courier, sans-serif">Stylesheet style: default </font></b></h1> <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#ffffff"> <font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans- serif" size="3"> <xsl:apply- templates select="message" /> </font> <br /> </body> </html> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="message"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"> <tr> <td bgcolor="#000044"> <font size="+1" face="serif" color="#222222"> <b> <xsl:value-of select="@title" /> </b> <br /> </font> </td> <br /> </tr> </table> <xsl:apply-templates /> <br /> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> any insights greatly appreciated, alan eustace _____________________________________ Get your free E-mail at http://www.ireland.com XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
