Subject: Re: Fwd: Re: [xsl] element nodes in a string? From: Chris Nolte <cgn7094@xxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 12:47:28 -0700 (PDT) |
Thank you Wendell and Peter for your very helpful responses. For what it's worth, I was able to write an XSLT stylesheet to convert my input file into LaTeX. If anyone is interested ask me and I will email you the files; they are a little long to post, and I doubt many people are interested anyway. I think that if I use some extension function or other, I could convert into HTML also--but that's sort of beside the point. As Wendell noted, the crux of my problem was that my input file was only superficially XML--the features I wanted to mark up were not XML, and this is not something XSLT 1.0 is designed to do. A simple insight, but crucial. Thanks, Chris __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
