Subject: [xsl] Identifying an element From: Kevin_Gutch@xxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 16:16:22 -0400 |
I have an XML file that contains elements that may have repeating values. I want to identify the first instance of this value. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Below id my example and I want to grab the first instance of <ME/> that equals "282214" <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <test> <test> <PS/> <ME>282214</ME> <SEL>yes</SEL> <QUES>A</QUES> </test> <test> <PS>PRICING</PS> <ME>282214</ME> <SEL>NO</SEL> <QUES>BB</QUES> </test> <test> <PS/> <ME>xcxcvxv</ME> <SEL>NO</SEL> <QUES>What are you doing</QUES> </test> </test> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
