Of course, and I would have mentioned it except that Antony
specifically wanted a solution that was available to call *within an
XPath expression* so that he could use it as a key value. As you know,
templates cannot be called within XPath expressions, so I did not
think generic templates were particularly useful in this case.

Or perhaps you've found a way around it that I'm not aware of?
