[xsl] Producing netscape navigator compatilble HTML tables from CALS tables

Hello All,
 I need to product HTML tables from CALS tables. However I cannot use
colgroup and col etc since I think this is
is not netscape compatible (well the older versions anyway). I have been
looking at ways to do this, and the
only xsl module which I have been able to find is the one for docbook, and
this uses colgroup and col. Does anyone
know of any other XSL module/fragment which I could use.

I would also be grateful is someone could point me to some CALS
documentation, even a DTD for CALS tables, likewise some table CALS tables
would also be useful.
