Subject: [xsl] saving nodes for later output From: "David Santamauro" <david.santamauro@xxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 3 Nov 2001 08:42:07 -0500 |
I'm not sure how to go about this so here is my qeustion: I have markup which represents a table and inside the table are footnotes and footnote references. I want to save the footnotes (body) outside of the table. So with this: <tab> <row> <cell id="1">Text with a footnote.<footnote-ref fnref="1.1">*</footnote-ref></cell> <cell id ="2">More text...</cell> </row> <row><cell id="3"> </cell></row> <row><cell id="4"> </cell></row> <row> <cell id="5"> <footnote-body fn="1.1">This is the text referred to in cell id="1"</footnote-body> </cell> </row> I'd like this (I'll use HTML as an example): <table> <tr> <td>Text with a footnote.<a href="#1.1">*</a></td> <td>More text...</td> <tr><td> </td></tr> <tr><td> </td></tr> </table> <p><a name="1.1">*</a>This is the text referred to in cell id="1"</p> XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
