This issue can be avoided altogether by typing a literal non-breaking space into your template. Windows users can type a non-breaking space with ALT + 0160 (using the numeric keypad on the right of the keyboard, NOT the numbers arrayed over the letters). The web browser, encountering this, will no longer read a general entity representing a non-breaking space; it will read a literal non-breaking space, and the effect will be the same. -----Original Message----- From: David Carlisle [mailto:davidc@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, December 11, 2001 1:18 PM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [xsl] RE: [xsl] RE: [xsl] RE: [xsl] RE: [xsl] Re: [xsl] RE: [xsl] Re: [xsl] is being displayed as Á > Could somebody explain to my WHY '&' translates to '&' but ' ' > doesn't change at all?
