Subject: [xsl] Parameter Type problem From: "Fort, Karen" <Karen.Fort@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 25 Jan 2002 18:48:40 +0100 |
Hi,
I have a problem trying to retrieve the value of one node in the schema to affect it to a parameter in the data...
In fact, the 'concat' function transforms it into a string and then I cannot turn it into the right node type...
It's a bit difficult to explain for me, so, here's the code:
<xsl:template match="z:row">
<xsl:variable name="tmplg" select="concat('@',/xml/s:Schema/s:ElementType/s:AttributeType[@rs:name='term1.language_']/@name)"></xsl:variable>
<xsl:apply-templates select="@*">
<xsl:with-param name="language1" select="$tmplg"></xsl:with-param>
</xsl:apply-templates>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="@*">
<xsl:param name="language1"></xsl:param>
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="contains(/xml/s:Schema/s:ElementType/s:AttributeType[@name = name(current())]/@rs:name,'term1.baseform_')">
<xsl:call-template name="xts-language-mapping">
<xsl:with-param name="language" select="$language1" />
</xsl:call-template>
</xsl:when>
The problem is the parameter is then of string type and not node...
How can I "cast" it to a node?
I'm sure it's very simple, but I cannot find my way through this!
Thanks!
Karen
