i am using Apache FOP(http://xml.apache.org/fop/). And i dont think there is any restriction of Page breaks. Sami, it happens because either you specified restrictions which force the formatter to keep the cells "together", that is, not broken by a page break, or the formatter you use is not capable of splitting table cells at page breaks.
