I've been fortunate to partner and work with a hosting company, and work on the machine that my app will reside.. Yes, you are on the right track with migration to Open Source as I've had to. I have converted my app to OSX running Apache,Tomcat... >From a few other groups we've worked with, they have all made the cost-effective migration to Open Source. cheers, Astor -----Original Message----- From: Hellstern, Manny [mailto:manny.hellstern@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, February 07, 2002 8:57 AM To: 'XSL-List@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Subject: [xsl] Deployment Looking for some advice. I developed an application for a friend to use in his company using MSXML, IIS5 and ASP pages. I think that the application may have broader application in the general market place but when I went looking at web hosting companies I couldn't find a hosting service that could accommodate my application in the form that it was developed. My question is - how do I migrate what I have so that I can afford more usability to the application? I'm assuming that I probably have to change my code to use something other than MSXML on the server, will probably end up being hosted on something like Apache and have to change my ASP pages to JSP pages? Am I on the right track? Thanks in advance for any help.
