Subject: [xsl] Sorting and grouping

hi,

I have the following xml file,

<queryResult val="t">
<table>
<row>
<field fid="certmapId">1</field>
<field fid="certDetail">Microsoft</field>
<field fid="subcertDetail">MCSE</field>
</row>

<row>
<field fid="certmapId">2</field>
<field fid="certDetail">Microsoft</field>
<field fid="subcertDetail">MCSD</field>
</row>

<row>
<field fid="certmapId">3</field>
<field fid="certDetail">Oracle</field>
<field fid="subcertDetail">OCP</field>
</row>

<row>
<field fid="certmapId">4</field>
<field fid="certDetail">Oracle</field>
<field fid="subcertDetail">DBA</field>
</row>
</table>
</queryResult>

Now i need to create an xsl, which shows the output as,

Microsoft
(*) MCP (*) MCSE

Oracle
(*) OCP (*) DBA

the * stands for the checkboxes.

The problem is i need to group all the subcertifications under the
certifications and create the html.

can u suggest me how to group them in xslt.

bye
